Kape, Tinapay, Atbp! Get ready to elevate your coffee and cocktail experience, for this retro-modern café in San Juan is now running 24/7!

Last week, I had the great time hanging out
at Mabuhay Craft Coffee, where Chef Kel Zaguirre and team are still fresh from their recent grand launch!
I stepped into this playful corner café tucked away in San Juan, and let me tell you, it was love at first sip and bite! The atmosphere was so inviting that my friend, Pepper Teehankee, and I both agreed this would not be our last visit (he is already a fan of Mabuhay Craft Coffee’s Croissandesal btw)!
In the competitive café landscape of the metro, Mabuhay Craft Coffee distinguishes itself by effectively embodying the local Pinoy vibes!
The café's vibrant red aesthetic, intentional branding, and nostalgic OPM playlists create a welcoming atmosphere.
Additionally, Mabuhay Craft Coffee offers a unique menu that features a selection of coffee, cocktails, and baked goods, appealing to a wide range of customers and enhancing their overall experience.

And as someone whose body runs on caffeine, I'm simply beyong ecstatic! During my first visit, I tried the Dirty Skrambol (classic skrambol + Mabuhay blend espresso + Mik Mik topping) and wow, it just hit me with childhood nostalgia, not to mention, this drink literally kept me wired all night!

I paired it with their moist (and huge) Yema Blondie that gave a whole new meaning to the classic baked treat, thanks to that generous layer of yema that you get with each bite. Surprisingly, it's also not too sweet - a clear indication that this is a dessert that's truly worth devouring!

When I visit again, I’m thinking of trying their Gatcha! (gata, matcha, latik), cocktails (prices are lower from 9pm-3am!), and sweet and savory snacks (fan faves include their Yema Blondie, Champorado Cookie, Kouignsaymada, Crossaindesal, and Tocinossant). Because why stop at just one kind of buzz, right?

And if you want to bring the fun in your safe space, you can even take home some yummy stash and uber cool merch, such as bags, mugs, and shirts designed by Food Records Inc.!

I highly recommend taking home and trying their lovely Kold Brew, special coffee bean blends, and their addictive Panjam (Pandan Jam), which I love so much because it's so good! This sweet and coconutty concoction is like a warm and sweet hug in the form of a light and airy spread, served in between hot and toasty slices of bread!

Shout-out and congratulations to Chef Kel Zaguirre and the MCC team for bringing this fantastic concept to the San Juan neighborhood! I can't wait to see what amazing surprises Mabuhay Craft Coffee has for us!
In the meantime, check them out at the corner of A. Mabini Street, San Juan, Metro Manila. You won’t want to miss it! Follow @mabuhaycraftcoffee on IG and FB!
