Good times, good vibes and good food at Jones All Day!

Updated: May 2, 2022

This all-day dining space in Serendra, BGC serves nourishing comfort food from scrumptious breakfast, brunch, lunch, snacks, and dinner!

After a few years and counting of complete uncertainty, we consider ourselves lucky to have these precious moments where everyone looks forward to re-engaging with friends and family we haven’t seen face-to-face in a long time – preferably over good food in a safe and relaxing space outside our home or beyond video calls.

Suddenly, we got all gaga for physical get-togethers (while keeping it safe and socially distanced of course)

Which is why seasoned restaurateurs Annabella and Martin Wisniewski of the Raintree Hospitality Group along with their corporate chef Kalel Chan launched a perfect venue that offers something for every kind of diner - whether guests are looking forward to family get-togethers with a hearty meal, catching up with friends over wine and tapas, having an intimate night out with their special someone, unwinding with colleagues after a long day at work, or celebrating the weekend with their amigas aka Titas and Moms of Manila over brunch and mimosas.

Jones All Day is a concept that also includes an oyster/raw bar and a bakery/artisan retail store called the Jonesery that is constantly stocked with mouthwatering baked goods straight out of the oven plus other locally made and sourced artisanal goods from talented and hardworking small and medium Filipino enterprises.

It's one of those place where you can enjoy Pacific Oysters (Aklan Oysters) are flown in fresh every day. One can choose to have it served freshly shucked on ice, Rock-a-fella with spinach and hollandaise, or Katsu Dynamite-style (topped with Sriracha mayo, unagi sauce, and ikura)

Meantime, their high and mighty but really affordable Jones Seafood Tower is a seafood behemoth made of shrimp cocktail, pacific oysters, blue mussels, salmon and tuna sashimi. They also serve ceviche that goes really well with a few glasses of sparkling wine.

Mimosas, anyone?

This is all of us wishing that Tom and Donna can join us for brunch at Jones All Day

Another good match with their refreshing beverage list (think cocktails and G&Ts) is their selection of hearty soups, such as this yummy and hearty Fresh Onion soup with lots of melted cheese and sourdough toast.

Jones All Day keeps things fresh and healthy with some salads that are good enough for lunch, such as this luxurious plate of Caesar Salad with dbl smoked bacon, capers, caviar, basil, arugula, edible flowers, and a snowfall of pecorino romano.

Their Salmon Gravlax with truffled honey, roasted walnuts, gorgonzola, and arugula is just one of their many ultimate Stone-Fired Pizzas that uses a sourdough crust instead of the usual and is said to go well with their housemade shakes.

While Jones All Day offers an interesting fusion of cuisines and types, their main focus is this twistingly creative comfort food, as Chef Kalel Chan recalls one time he created this Dan Dan-style noodle dish with house-made handkerchief pasta. He tested this dish in his home kitchen and jokingly said that "this was only one of the few things I made that my kid actually liked", while we all felt that his son is becoming a more critical food taster than his dad is!

Still, Jones All Day brings us back to the simple pleasures that life has to offer. While there are a bunch of lavishly delicious items on the menu, they also have some really good traditional comfort food as well, like this perfect Congee and Siu Mai combo, or a winner-winner chicken dinner of Hainanese Chicken Rice that is one for the books.

If you’re in the mood for classics with a Jones twist, make sure to get the Jones Beef Tapa (char-grilled US top blade beef with tapa sauce topped with crispy garlic chili; served with garlic rice, two cage-free eggs the way you want them, and cucumber atchara, grilled tomatoes, and vinegar dip on the side). Truth be told, this was a cult favorite at Jones All Day's predecessor, Mr. Jones, and we can say that this is one of the best tapsilogs that we tried so far.

Of course, Jones All Day can also be a place for those with a sweet tooth and vegans too since they offer some plant-based items like the PBB (Plant-Based Burger).

See Jones All Day's food menu here.

We couldn't help but leave some space for their "Crispy Brioche" French Toast, everything housemade including the bread and creme fraiche, which is still considered healthy thanks to the three-berry compote and almonds on top!

Have some J&M ice cream before you leave (or on-the-go because you can get them in cups), and make sure you take home some baked goods from the Jonesery. Here we have some pastries, more brioche, and a homestyle pimento spread that reminded me of childhood.
