If January felt like a whole year had just passed, I hope that for most people, the Valentine’s season offers a perfect excuse to slow things down and savor moments that often pass too quickly. It invites moments that feel intentional, unhurried, and quietly celebratory.

At Oasis Garden Cafe in Solaire Resort Entertainment City, those moments take shape through the Galentine’s Afternoon Tea, one of their latest offerings designed around connection, elegance, and the pleasure of simply being present.

I took the opportunity to try this along with great friends Kat and Dek, and Marga, whom I just met that day. The cafe’s light-filled space was the perfect backdrop for an afternoon meant to be savored. Oasis Garden Cafe feels refined yet welcoming, making it an ideal setting for quick catch-ups or long conversations and shared plates with friends.

The Galentine's Afternoon Tea set opens with a thoughtful selection of savory bites that feel indulgent without being overwhelming. Standouts include foie gras on toasted brioche, smoked salmon tartare presented in a beetroot cone with clotted cream, mini quiche Lorraine, roast beef with Dijon and shimeji, and a grilled vegetable and avocado bagel. Each item is carefully composed and easy to enjoy at a relaxed pace, encouraging sharing and conversation around the table.

All these, including the sweets that came along, were all visual and sensory highlights. Their sweet selection features hazelnut choux filled with chocolate ganache, cherry chocolate tarts, cheese red velvet cake, raspberry mousse, vanilla panna cotta with raspberry sauce and fresh berries, and a mixed berry pistachio sphere. Balanced and beautifully presented, the desserts feel indulgent without tipping into excess.

It wouldn't be an afternoon tea without the main star to complete the experience with an equally curated lineup. Guests can choose from loose-leaf teas, including herbal blends like Rosehip and Hibiscus, green teas, unique new blends, and flavored black teas such as Muscat from Provence. Freshly brewed Arabica coffee is available for those who prefer it, while the Valentine’s special rose-flavored tea mocktail offers a light and playful alternative that feels perfectly in season.
