Life goes on as we celebrate one of the world's most loved festivals in a smaller and safer way.
We may not have officially commenced Oktoberfest this year, but maybe it's time to rethink and just be glad that we can always relive the celebration at Brotzeit any day, and any time.
The Oktoberfest is an important part of Bavarian culture since 1810, but sadly we have to postpone it from being a crowd-pleasing festival to a smaller, more intimate one. Food is never not on the table during Oktoberfest, where people can enjoy their favorite German beer with pretzels, sausages, roast and cured meats, and mounds of spätzle!
And for a non-German, the concept of Oktoberfest sticks with how most Filipinos like to drink: with lots of food! It's a good thing that there's a lot to choose from Brotzeit's extensive menu that ranges from breakfast to lunch/dinner items, snacks, and even sweets.
Brotzeit really lives up to their hashtag #goodfoodgooddrinks, and continue to serve new items from time to time, just like these doner kebabs (above photo) that hit the spot.
Or maybe you're in the mood for some currywurst and extra crispy fries? Yes, they have it too. While they strive to be as authentic as possible, it doesn't hurt for them to really tweak the flavors to satisfy the Filipino palate.
And with the holidays coming in, hot chocolate is one of the staples that we love to enjoy anytime. If you're in for a warm treat, you better try their hot chocolate too. It's truly for keeps!
So, see you at Brotzeit soon? Let's have one round, and maybe another (they're now back and open until 12midnight, so cheers to that!)
